Description:
|
The client desired a complete make-over to his three bedroom
apartment by creating a central, modern and spacious living space.
The basic modification to the original standard plan has been the
joining of the entrance lobby, the guest bathroom, and the dining/
living area in one spacious open plan central hall, by adopting the
basic concept of planning in traditional central hall Lebanese
houses, although the elements used shall follow simple modern
arhitectonics.
The basic elements used in the interior architecture of this central
living space will aim at defining spaces according to function
without visual interruption. This has been achieved through the
spatial procession in the use of well defined (in shape and in
heights) gypsum and wood false ceilings and through introducing a
sculptural Bar that shall serve a dual function, one serving its
intended function and the other defining the entry point to the
apartment.
